Company ProfileCAM-1 is a corporation that specializes in the sale of CAD/CAM software that has been specially developed to serve a specific market segment. CAM-1 currently represent products for the programming of CNC wire EDM machine tools and for the automation of design and manufacturing aspects of the woodworking industry. We represent the Esprit line of CAD/CAM software solutions from DP Technology. CAM-1 has formed a strategic alliance with DP Technology to provide an industry-leading CAM product to the wire EDM marketplace. We also represent Pattern Systems International software products for the automation of the woodworking industry. PSI's current product line includes software for the following applications: Automated drafting and design (using AutoCAD?; Bill of Materials Processing; Cutlisting and Costing; Panel Optimization; Bar Coding Labels; Parametric Part Machining and CNC Connections for most equipment. We can provide customized programming solutions for special applications. This may involve modification of one of our existing products or the development of a completely new product. Randy Mell is the president of CAM-1and has over 25 years experience in the CNC machining and programming arena. His experience includes programming vertical and horizontal machining centers, turning centers, multi-axis mill/turn centers, wire EDM, laser and turret punch equipment. He worked for 5 years as the Sr. NC Applications Engineer for a major Japanese Import/Export company where he was involved in training customers to program various machines as well as implementing turnkey projects to meet specific customer requirements. He has been active in the PC based CAD/CAM industry from it's infancy in the mid 1980s. He has been involved in the development and marketing of 2 different CAD/CAM products that specialized in the programming of Wire EDM equipment.
