CAM1 founder and President Randy Mell summed it up: "This company is dedicated to supplying the most innovative CAM (computer aided machining) products available in the market today. Our company will be focusing on the wire EDM marketplace and it's associated industries. We have been selected by DP Technology to represent their Esprit product line. I feel that the Esprit suite of CAD/CAM software provides the best solution available today for those companies requiring EDM, Milling, and Turning solutions. I have over 25 years of experience in the CNC machining and programming market and I will use my personal knowledge and contacts throughout the industry to provide our clients with an unparalleled resource for their needs."
CAM-1 will also provide customized solutions for special applications. This may involve the modification of one of our existing products or the development of a completely new product. Training for all of our CAM products will be available form CAM-1 either on-site or at our facilities in Charlotte, North Carolina. We will also offer training and consultation on various machine tool controls.
CAM-1 will provide a contract programming service for those complex parts that you may not have the capability to easily program. We will also be available to meet your programming needs for a short time if you should find yourself without a programmer.
